So first off i am really enjoying the new build.
The graphics are great
hit detection feels better
i can set my sensitive to what feels comfortable
And unlike most i actually like the increase in how many skills it takes to get items and heres why.
Not everyone can run amazing Proto pub stomp fest gear anymore.
You have to specialize more people can no longer be a good assault a good Scout and a good tanker (For example)
You can't be good with all weapons at the same time
It takes time to get what you want instead of having everything that you want and getting bored. Now it takes time to get the good gear.
Unfortunately like everything it has downsides which i hope will be removed when we get the new Sp system.
Mostly the downsides hurt the new players which could be fixed by More tutorials make the game easy to understand
More Starting Skill points.
Honestly the new build is great imo It gets a solid 8.5/10 from me. Just buff the heavies they already werent that great then you nerfed them? Doesnt make sense
Oh and another thing. It wouldnt be a big deal if players werent so hungry for Proto Suits.
To bring up a quote i hear earlier, "You could give people the world and they would be mad cause they didnt get the moon" |

the game is... actually good!" If you don't like the game don't cry about it on the forums.
I don't like lots of games but i don't go on about them non stop and point out every flaw. |

Honestly how many can actually say that what CCP has done overall isn't an improvement.
Sure heavies got a bad nerf they didnt deserve but honestly i bet there shaking their head about it right now and are planning to revert it.
ANd sure there are new problems, its a massive update, what do you expect. But i only noticed 5 or 6 new bugs compared the the 100's chromosome has.
A big big improvement and we still got the 14th!!!!!!!!!! |

the game is... actually good!" There are still glaring faults with the build. Headglitch, see through terrain, rank 5 basic skills, doing the running man over a pebble. But all in all I would say that it is at 60/40 right now. 60% good 40% bad. Not quite passing but a step in the right direction. I actually think that if CCP went on a terrain mapping slaughter it would be 90/10. I love the new bigger maps, the graphics are drastically improved, the memory leaks seem to have been solved, the controls are more responsive. Ease of use is better, the UI is more streamlined. I hope the 14th takes it even further. I'm not ready to buy more AUR but I am liking the new build as an overall. Now we just need to get more people playing. Over time the game will get better we all know that. But i'm glad all of the last builds glitches are gone, i havent noticed many in the new build |

Well honestly this build was more focuesed on graphics and things like that, we should get some more Core gameplay and skill updates.
CCP obviously knows what they did wrong and i'm sure there will be a fix. We can only hope it's on the 14th |

alten hilt wrote:I'm on board with the OP. Overall there are a lot of great improvements. Definitely some sloppy updates (aiming, input lag, object rendering choppiness, implementation mistakes, etc.), and choosing to split the update between 5/6 and 5/14 is a horrible decision. The good-idea fairy strikes again!
On a side note. I'm no expert with Heavies and HMGs, but I do find it funny that the very same people crying about the nerf to their play style are running around the forums saying "Nerf all the things, except my preferred play style." It's natural for players to want their chosen fit to be all-powerful, but dang! Heavies have perfected the attitude!
Yea i'm happy about how more play styles are getting separated greater. I just wish the Assault couldnt do Everything! Maybe remove its equipment Slot and give the heavy an equipment slot. (I use scout btw) ANd the Scout suits are fine when fitted well. |

You'll notice from the FanFest CCP Presents! presentation that a "Magsec SMG" is already planned as a Caldari weapon, and if you take this idea further - into the realm of modular weapons - and allow the current SMGs to be upgraded to fill this type of role, you don't even have to make a new asset. Logi suits get a workable weapon with low fitting requirements, and are better fit into their intended role. Cool idea but i believe that we should get Carbines, a light weapon meant for high fire rate lets say 900 with Not great but not bad damage and Close- Medium range but high recoil after shooting 30 bullets |

Nah it will have a lot of recoil sense of the high Fire rate |

Nah it will have a lot of recoil sense of the high Fire rate Yeah, the idea is that it would have less damage and range. It would be useful, but you wouldn't want to go one on one with an AR with one. Also, the PG and CPU saved would be a boon for a Logi player, but it would still use more PG and CPU than a standard SMG on account of the mods, and thus would take up too much PG and CPU to realistically allow an Assault player to, say, carry both a Laser Rifle and a Carbine. Yea. It would be a side arm and a light weapon so anyone can use |
